Mine would be a modest cottage in the countryside on a large piece of land. It would look like something out of a fairytale. My house would be buried in the forest, with a long winding driveway (so you couldn't see the house from the road). the front yard would be filled with hundreds of wildflowers and garden decorations. I would have stone steps and a vintage mailbox. the first floor would be the kitchen, pantry, dining room, living room, and bathroom. the inside would be very cozy ...the rooms would be pastel colours with a mix of vintage and modern furniture. all the doors would be rounded and made of wood.I would have a vintage stove, water pump, and woodstove. there would also be a full basement and a large wrap-around deck with a barbeque, fairy lights, flower baskets, and windchimes. the third level would be two attic bedrooms complete with old beams and a small balcony. the master bedroom would have a small walk-in closet space and bathroom added on. My backyard would be filled of vegetable and herb gardens, with a large barn for all my farm animals (like chickens, ducks, pigs, and a horse). I would also have a nice art studio built onto the barn. Off to the side would be a beautiful beck and forest where you could swim, play, and daydream. there would be a small hobbit hole-like guesthouse built on the side with a dock.
Mine is where I live. I've worked for it. It's not much but I would rather die here than move. It is an ongoing project though. I may have everything I want to do here finished by the time I am killed by a jealous husband on my 97th birthday.
