What to do with my windows?

I am looking to decorate my living room and dining room that are actually in the same room. I'd like to have a different theme in each room but have some element that ties them together. in the living room, the couches are a mint/sage green with dark chocolate tables with frosted glass. The focal point in the room is a picture I got in Jamaica of women in sugarcane fields. they are black stick figures with colorful clothes (yellow, pink, blue) with a green/yellow background in a dark chocolate frame. I am adding little accents in pink for a splash of color. in the dining room has the dark chocolate furniture too, but I would like to do an asian theme with maybe some bamboo pieces and maybe silver/gold two tone accents. I haven't found anything to use as a focal point yet but it will probably be the centerpiece. Now my dilemma is what to do with the windows. because it's the same room, I need to put the same window treatments on both windows. What would go with both themes/rooms? I kinda like the sliding panels, but I'm not sure what color and if it would go in both rooms.
