Apparently Cane furniture is out of fashion (all the old mills around here that used to sell Cane have now closed down), so what is the best furniture to put in a Conservatory? Links to websites would be useful. We are planning to make it a dining room, but also maybe have some sort of seating/sofa area in there also.
We have conservatory blinds that restrict sunlight and a roof that has a UV filter in it so sun damage is minimal. We have had a standard design sofa in natural brushed canvas fabric (sand coloured) and pine table with wooden chairs in there for 5 years now and its still fine. So if you buy a natural fabric sofa it will be fine. I would recommend you view the Sofasofa website and view their range, we bought ours from them and subsequently bought spare cushion covers. Cane furniture is still being sold by local garden centres here in Devon & several have it at reduced prices because by Spring there will be newer designs in stock.may be worth checking out ones near you as cane doesn't fade in sun or get easily scratched by animals,kids shoe buckles etc & is very easy to maintain
