My 7 month old always makes his way to our dining area which is super close to the living room or actually part of the living room lol I live in a small apartment and he pulls himself up on the chair and pulls it back and it falls on him I started putting the chairs up on the table to keep him from getting to them but what else can I do?? I have a small table and the chairs are very light weight should I buy a sturdier table and chairs cause he just keeps at it all day over and over.
WELCOME TO MOBILITY!!! putting them up should do the trick. I'd just keep him busy and make sure he has safe things to pull up on. just monitor him and discipline him and teach him that the table is not his place to play. good luck
I left my dining table & chairs in place. I just crawl around with him & make sure he doesn't get hurt.
When my daughter was that age, I tied the chairs to the table legs with small bungee cords. The best part was the looks on people's face when they couldn't get the chairs out!
duct tape them down...use lots. it worked on me when i was little lol, and is cheaper than buying a new dining set.
