My lounge room has cream/ivory coloured walls, beige blinds and beige carpet and I have a black leather lounge, chocolate wood type furniture (but no coffee table yet) and glass/metal dining room table with white/metal chairs. I'm trying to work out a colour theme but not sure how to go about it. Was thinking red (or mixed red/white/black pattern) rug, red/white/green pillows for lounge, abstract artwork with these colours and maybe white or red lamp shades with white coffee table? Would like to create a modern look with some style. any suggestions out there? Would really appreciate some good advice.
I DEF think red, But would stay clear from bringong white into it as well, with the cream.!
Red, black and white work well together, but I think are overused and a bit unoriginal. I'd choose a shade of teal or aqua for accents. maybe something here will inspire you:
