My wife and I are remodeling our house downstairs. we are getting medium to dark wood bamboo floors. Ubatuba granite counter tops (black with gold flecs). our cabinets are being painted white.
Our downstairs consists of a kitchen, dining room, and living room. each one being separate rooms but all connecting in a circle from one room to the next. the dining room and living room share a wall. the dinning room and kitchen have chair rails so there's the possibility of painting above the chair rail one color and below the chair rail another color.
What do you think? Also, what kind (color) of a kitchen table should we get?
With dark woods a lighter neutral color. With white cabinets you might want to go to the middle of chart little darker. to accent the cabinets.
Colors are up to you. and use your window coverings and furniture to pop out accent colors.
Im not all expert about
what I am about to say but
i think that if it was just one
room or two black walls with red
decorations are pretty cute.
It makes a romantic mood!
