I spray painted a couple chairs from a dining room table set and do not like how they turned out. I am thinking about painting them a different color (cream instead of white) and though that instead there might be a way to remove the spray paint? If there anything that I could use that would remove the spray paint and bring the wood back so it can be re stained?
The important thing when repainting wood is to sandblast the old finish off. Use sand paper, wear goggles and don't breath the dust in, you can use a mask. be patient and don't be afraid to use multiple layers if needed. Also don't use spray paint...that is way cheap looking and it comes out uneven. Use real paint for wood.
If it is real wood you might can get the paint off with sand paper
