Last night I woke from a horrifying dream. I would like to know what it means. Can someone help me?

The dream started off, where I came home from some place, and as I was walking through the hallway there were so many strange animals. I asked out loud where all the animals came from, when my mum said that she had something to tell us. she told me and some people that were visiting that she stole the animals from the zoo. it apparently agitated me in my dream, because I huffed and stomped into the dining room and sat at the table by myself. But as I stuck to my poutmood, an Emu ran up to me and kept trying to get me to pet her. I tried desperately to push her away, but she wouldn’t budge. instead, she threw her wings out and stood in front of me. So I quickly stood up thinking that she was about to attack me, but when I turned my back to walk away, I saw my sister asking what was going on, and shrugged, suddenly feeling the Emu press her chest to my back, I slightly began to panic, so I turned to push away again, but this time she gently nipped my finger and threw her wings out again. she covered my head quickly expecting the worst, but the next thing I knew, someone grabbed her and pulled her away. Once she was away, I calmly sat back in my chair, only to have a camel get in my face this. I screamed with frustration and tried to push him away, but instead he would lick my hand, eventually I stood up again to move away, in fear that he was going to spit on me, but he let out this god awful bellow, which made me drop to the floor and try to crawl under a table. But when I lifted the table cloth two baby rhinos came out, so I jumped and said that I was going to hide in my mum’s bathroom, and as I walked off I told to get rid of all of the animals, while trying to get the camel to not follow me. Thankfully, someone grabbed the camel’s halter and lead him away, along with another that I didn’t notice before. Completely annoyed now, I walked into my mum’s bathroom, stepping over this hole that was in the door way. I questioned myself as to how the hole got there, while sitting on the floor, angered and watching my cats slip into the hole quietly. I was trying to figure out why they were in there, when suddenly the female cat that I have crawled out of the hole and looked at me, mewing softly as though she was trying to tell me something, so I crawled over to the hole, and stuck my hand in there, closing my grasp around something furry. And to my shock and horror , I pulled out a dead kitten with half of it’s face eaten away by ants, I dropped the kitten and leaned closer to the hole, noticing that there was a box of more kittens down there, except they didn’t look like kittens at all, they looked like rats. I slowly looked over to my black cat Sammie, with shock still holding onto me. Sammie’s eyes locked with mine for a moment, before he looked away and noticed something was wrong with him. That’s when I called to my mum and said that something was wrong with my cat, as I gently grabbed him and pulled him, but when I did that I felt pure rib cage bones in my hand, like the flesh rotted off it. So I held him up and looked at him and realized that he was missing big chunks of fur, and his flesh was rotting away, but he didn’t act like he was in pain at all. I dropped him a scream of terror and ran out the back door, across the field to my real mother’s home, asking to come with me. she followed me back to my mum’s house and I went and picked Sammie back up, and carried him to mum. But all she said was that there was nothing to do for him, that he would have to be put down. I wanted to cry so bad in my dream but I didn’t. instead, I asked mum twice if there was a gun in the house anywhere, but before she could answer me, I woke up.
My heart was pounding and I literally got up and walked to my mum explaining to her my dream, then I checked on my cat Sammie and held for a little bit, before I finally decided to go back to bed. Both my mum and I don’t understand why I had the dream or what it could possibly mean. is there anyone out there, that may have an idea of what it means or why I possibly had it?
