I need CHEAP furniture for my apartment?

I am moving to Dallas, TX in july and i need a bed, dresser, night stand, coffee table, mattress, couch, and dining room table and chairs. PLEASE HELP! i am a college student and rent is going to take alot of my money. i need answers!! please help me find cheap ((gently used if necessary)) furniture. Thanks.

If you have a Salvation Army close to your house you can get some great stuff there. also look for moving sales in the classified ads.

A good idea for buying cheap furniture for your apartment is to buy reconditioned furniture. Ebay has them and so does other local business for reused furniture.

Buy the furniture once you get there. You don't need the extra expense of moving it. just get a folding bed until you find the right stuff .You should be able to furnish your place at second hand shops very inexpensively.There's a lot of value to be had in those shops but upholstery and matresses aren't anything you want to buy used.
Try IKEA for them.

I would definitely wait until you move to buy the furniture so you don't have to worry about excess shipping costs. Depending on your style, you can get really great furniture for a great price by thinking outside the obvious. I would mix and match old pieces with new pieces to make your house look more comfortable and lived in.
