how would one remove old polish from dining table?
Check the paint section of your hardware store for polish stripper
DO NOT JUST GET ANY OLD REMOVER.you need to know what kind of wood it is cuz if you a remover thats not right for it it can damage it and you would need to sand the hole thing if you did damage the wood it. get a veary FINE GRIT SAND PAPER i would use at least 800 grit if you think there is know such thing as 800 grit sand paper they use 3,000 grit for sanding pant on cars and there not doing that to get the paint off i hope i helped you
