This is our living room, the fooring is VERY plush carpeting. Let me explain this little drawing, on the left wall there are double french doors that open into our wood floored dining room. On the bottom there are french doors that open into the room, on the other side is a grand foyer also wood floored. the W represents a window (currently not curtains, just plain glass) All walls are just plain wall at the moment. the only piece of furniture is an upholstered chair represented by the C. the two P's represent the piano, one being one end the other being hte other to represent the angle its facing. please tell me the best angle to have the piano, along with furniture, window treatments, etc you think should be in the room.
Thanks
That was a lot of effort for something that no one's going to understand, mate..
Get a small keyboard.
Any plush carpeting is a plus, it will make the room more 'dead' (the sound won't echo). I would place it as far from a window so the sun won't hit the wood, keep it away from heating registers, ect. anything that could throw it out of tune. In such a small room it really does not make too much of a difference where you put it.
Best place in room acoustically for piano?
