I am re covering our dining chairs with some pretty new fabric. I know it will get dirty now and ag ain and I would like to know if there is a way to cover the chairs without using staples so it is not so perm? any suggestions?
use elastic in the 4 edges, then a tape of sorts that will cross from 1 side to the other so that no slipping off the seat will occur.
Make a slip cover, tie it on the chair back like seat cushions are tied. Or do what my mother in law did with her dining room chairs: cover the fabric seats with clear plastic.
Anyway to upholster chair without staples, so I can take off and wash material?
