Hi, our dining chairs have casters however we have a four year old and a two year old and have found the rolling chairs to be hazardous so we took out the wheels but are now left with chairs that are noticeably short for the table. I havent been able to find anything to replace the wheels in order to give the chairs more height. does anyone have any ideas? or maybe they make casters that lock so they won't roll? Thanks for the help!
An inexpensive fix would be to drill a hole in each caster near one edge and put a screw in it; if you don't mind the look (which will hardly be noticeable anyway)
